Jessica Keneally is the proud owner of the beautiful GK Farm & Ranch in Bluff City, KS. There is where we held our session and it is also where her 3 beautiful horses reside. I always feel so blessed to be able to have the opportunity to photograph so many different types of animals that also do so many different things. It’s not every day that I am able to travel and stay the night at a beautiful Farm such as Jessica’s and photograph her with her Polo Ponies!
Corky is about 20-years-old and even though she is a little bit skittish, that never held her back in the athletic department. Edmundo is about 14-years-old and is there and willing to get the job done. No messing around, the serious type. Not even into pets or treats, Edmundo means business! Lastly, Candy is the youngest of the three, she is about 10-years-old. Candy definitely lives up to her name and loves all the treats! She is always eating and is by far the most affectionate and relaxed of the bunch.
When Jessica is not at her farm in Kansas she can be found in Houston playing polo at the Houston Polo Club which is how the two of us connected. Jessica decided to keep it casual for her portraits, with her white jeans and blouse with all of the horses, and then mixing it up with a vest for a second look complete with her cowboy hat. We had to get those iconic photos of her ponying her horses down the road by her farm, and I just LOVE how they turned out.
