Alice the Scruffy Dog | Tokaruk Show Tables

Meet Alice, a wild, goofy, white scruffy “Heinz 57” of a pup, she is owned and loved by Michael of Tokaruk Show Stables. She lives in Germantown, TN with her brother, Nacho.

Alice is a pup with a wild side who will do anything for a carrot, who knew dogs loved carrots?! Well, you see when you live the life of a horse show dog, sometimes you start to think that you are a horse which means eating what horses eat. Michael’s favorite memory of Alice is the dog races at a horse show in Santa Fe. Between when she loaded in the starting box and when they opened the gate she somehow turned herself around. So when the gate opened and the race started, all the other dogs ran out, while Alice had to back out, but first. It was a very funny memory, and she has a wonderful, silly personality so it was very fitting.

She is a big personality in a tiny package. She even won carriage dog class winner, Germantown Charity Horse Show 2016.

Did you know calling a dog a “Heinz 57” is another way of calling them a “mutt?” It means they have no idea what breeds make up the dog and is often used as a term of endearment.
