My Silver Lining is owned by Jamey and goes by “Mack.” Mack is a 9-year-old American Saddlebred. This gorgeous chestnut gelding is an impatient pony who loves carrots. The pair trains with Dan Flowers in Waller, TX.
Mack is a stunning chestnut with 3 white socks and just a hint of a star. Mack is by Heir Emerald. Jamey’s trainer found him in Tennessee and Jamey has had him for four years now. One of her favorite memories was at the World Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. Mack was laying in his stall and she walked in and sat on the ground next to him and started giving him scratches and treats. He just laid there and let her snuggle on him. Most horses get up if you open the stall door, but not Mack. He liked the attention.
Jamey was about 10 years old and the neighbor across the street was taking riding lessons. She told her mom she wanted to take riding lessons as well and has been riding ever since! Now it’s been 35 years and she loves it as much now as she did then.
