At the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show in 2022 we photographed 150 Horses, Dogs, & Goats and raised just over $10,000 for Candlelighters Houston. You can read the stories of each of the animals we photographed below that follow along with the Horses of Pin Oak Books.
I was 12 years old when I first truly learned the magical power of horses. Something about the way their eyes seem to pierce so deeply into your soul, almost like they are saying “I understand” without you having to explain anything to them. Over the years I have spent so much time hearing story after story of how horses have quite literally transformed and saved so many lives and healed countless souls.
It is my hope that each and every portrait and story in this book brings a little sunshine into your life, a little hope on your darkest day.
That each and every portrait you can feel the same peace that I have known to feel when I stare into a horse's eyes.
