SHADOWSTONE’S ENZO | 1 YEAR OLD PERCHERON COLT | JOPLIN,MO

Enzo, Shadowstone’s Enzo, is a yearling Percheron Colt. He is out of a L.D.s Legacee Tori, a mare bred by Jim and Peggy Day of Blue Ribbon Days Percherons and Valinvilla Simon, a Black Ice son.

Enzo is owned by Jimi and lives at Jimi’s home in Joplin,MO. He is Jimi’s first percheron foal, he has a great personality and is very easy to work with. Jimi bought Enzo’s dam while he was still in utero.

This loving colt loves green apples.

Enzo won his class and took Reserve Champion at his first show last year as a weanling.

“When Enzo was born his Dam Tori was a maiden mare and her body was a bit late in producing milk. Due to that I got an amazing opportunity to bond with the little guy. I stayed in the stall with him and his momma for the first 18 hours of his life and fed him colostrum that we purchased to make sure he received what he needed in time. Fortunately Tori’s milk came in at about 12 hours and he was able to start nursing normally. Enzo and I have a great bond and he trusts me a lot. He would get so excited when he would hear my voice that he would about jump the stall door trying to get to me quickly and when turned out he would call to me and come running as soon as he saw my car. Tori thankfully was very tolerant of having to share him with me but if Tori went one way and I went another he would always follow me. As he has grown up he has kept that loving nature and we are very excited to see what the future holds for him.”
“Tori’s, Enzo’s Mom’s, previous owners son always fed her green apples and I promised the little boy who fed her apples I would continue to make sure she had her apples regularly. When Enzo was born he was always wanting to try everything and he absolutely loved the green apples. He is totally spoiled and won’t even eat other types of apples they have to be green!”

Jimi’s favorite memory about Enzo is when he was born, “He has always been a very easy colt to work with and everyone falls in love with his personality.”
